Hidey Ho- Here we Go!

Here are a few of the classroom pics I talked about in an earlier post.  There are still other pics to take and several things to finish, as always.  I think I could work a straight 24-7 and still need more time to do something else in my classroom.

Back in the saddle again!

Whew!  I've been MIA for the past couple weeks enjoying being lazy the last few days of summer break and trying to get home away from home ready for a new group of buckaroos.
We have made it through a LoNg week of teacher inservices and meetings and this past week was our first full week with the students.  I finally have some classroom pics to post and will be back sometime today to get those up.

Another completed project

I'm starting to get these babies knocked out....I have the worst habit of getting things started and leaving them unfinished, usually because I am missing some part that is needed to get them finished.  Well, I finally have my post it note holder thingy using a plastic picture frame DoNe!  I know I have "borrowed" this idea from somebody on the web, but I have no idea when or where I saw it-so if this is your creation, please let me know so I can give you credit.

Now, this little project was super duper easy!  I only bought 1 picture frame from the Dollar Tree just to see how I would like the finished outcome.  I had the scrapbooking paper on hand and then off to my favorite vinyl friend for my letter (yep, I'm still one of the last people who have not invested in a Cricut) and to Wal Mart for the ribbon and button decor...I really wanted something western instead of the button but everything I found were not the right size for my taste.

Yee-haw!

My problem is FiXeD-thanks to my new found friend, Leea Peterson Shelton....

Now, here is the picture of my birthday balloons very quickly before I head out the door to take the kiddos to a skating birthday party.

Summer projects

Here is a pic of just one of my many summer projects- birthday balloons. Thanks to Tonya on PT for sharing these, along with the Brain Bubbles craze, which I hope to get more project pics loaded soon. I'm still posting from my cell- grrr!

Scratch that idea! Can't post a pic from my phone BUT I do have it on the Third Grade Rodeo's NeW facebook page. You can find that link on the right side of this page.

I'm posting now from my cell but darn- I dont want to have it do this for every post. Can anyone offer suggestions as to what I'm doing or not doing??? Thanks y'all!

Congratulations to Krystyi at Teaching In Flip Flops for reaching 100 followers!  She is not only giving away 1 but 2 Scentsy warmers and a scent bar of your choice.  If you are not familiar with Scentsy, you will absolutely LoVe it.  Not only will you fall in love with Scentsy but you will AdOrE Krystyi's blog.  She has some awesome ideas and makes me want to change my classroom theme to zebra print stuff if it wouldn't cost me a small fortune....

first post

Woo-hoo!  My first official post on my NeW blog....I have been blog stalking all summer long along with following the latest and greatest ideas from ProTeacher.  You know teachers have the summer OfF right-or that's what I've always heard.  I don't know about you guys, but I spend a good amount of time during my summer off creating new things for my classroom.  In fact, it seems like I spend most of my "free time" thinking about what I want to change or add to my classroom.

I am hoping to jump on the band wagon with this blog like so many of my "heroes" in the blog world and can only dream my blog will be a granule of greatness that theirs are.

I will be back in a little while and tell you about a Vista Print Linky Party I have found along with sharing some of my VP creations....
